Installation Note 43763: The postInstall.sh script fails if you run it on a different day than the initial SAS® 9.2 installation

DetailsAboutRate It

If you begin to install SAS 9.2 on one day and you subsequently attempt to run the postInstall.sh script on another day, the script fails with the following error:

. . .more message text. . .
Searching CFGenW0 for locale.
cat: //'high-level-qualifier.V92D8nnn.CNTL(CFGenWc)': EDC5067I An attempt was made to open a nonexistent file for read.
. . .more message text. . .
In this message, nnn represents the Julian date on which you executed postInstall.sh, and c represents the number for your language encoding.

To circumvent this problem, copy the corresponding CFGENWc member from the data set high-level-qualifier.V92D8mmm.CNTL (where mmm represents the Julian date on which you began your SAS 9.2 installation) to the data set high-level-qualifier.V92D8nnn.CNTL.
